Greenhouse Watering
Flood Flood: This technique is used in greenhouses to allow one worker with the use of computer or control timer, to water thousands of plans at a time. In this system the entire floor is covered in concrete with drainage holes and a storage tank towards the opening of the greenhouse.
Fertigation is often used in a greenhouse to integrate fertilizer into the watering process. It can be used regardless of which system you use: by sliding, by sprinkling, fertilization by hose irrigation, drip micro-irrigation, side infiltration system. It can be timed to only inject at certain watering times of to continually be mixed with the water. Fertigation is an efficient practice that makes it easier to get the proper amount of fertilizer to a large group of plants.
