Greenhouse Coverings
Acrylic Panels
Acrylic life expectancy exceeds 20 years if properly maintained. Acrylic covered greenhouses promote maximum plant growth for generations. There is no finer, stronger or clearer structural sheet. One disadvantage is that the panels are very expensive. For this reason, they are mainly used for high retail or very large greenhouses.

Polyethylene Film
This type of covering is the most common and is mostly used in packaging. It is widely available and very light weight. It also diffuses light which aids photosynthesis. One disadvantage is that it is not bio degradable. It needs to be replaced every 3-5 years.

Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate coverings are available in rigid panels or flexible rolls. they are very strong and light weigh, making them ideal for use. One of the main problems with this type of covering, is that after a couple of years they start yellowing. Even after UV treatments, polycarbonate panels are only guaranteed for ten years.

Solexx Panels
Solexx panels are made from advanced polyethylene material. With these panels, plants have a much better protection from UV rays and sunburn. One disadvantage is that the immense flexibility can be nonfunctional for certain greenhouse.
