Greenhouse Effect
The greenhouse effect is the warming of the Earth's surface as a result of atmospheric pollution by gases. There are two ways the term "greenhouse effect" can be interpreted.
1. The "natural" greenhouse effect that keeps the Earth's climate warm and habitable.
2. The "man-made" greenhouse effect. This process is the enhancement of Earth's natural greenhouse effect by the addition of greenhouse gases through the burning of fossil fuels.
The greenhouse effect aids in greenhouse production by helping to create year round optimum growing conditions for plants.

CAN THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT BE A BAD THING?
Too much of the man made green house effect can have negative consequences. Harmful gases and fossil fuels are released, which can lead to increased global warming. Global warming is slowly destroying Earth’s ozone layers, so reducing the greenhouse effect is crucial. Also, in many areas the temperature reaches extreme degrees. In these areas, an extreme environment tends to be created in the greenhouse, causing death to many plants. There are many ways to combat the greenhouse the effect. One way is to install a circulation fan in your greenhouse, in order to circulate the air and even out the temperature. Another way is to install vents, cause air from outside and inside to mix and cool down. Lastly, you can install an evaporative cooling system in order to cool your greenhouse when the temperatures rise too much.
